The May–June issue of Geophysics will contain 59 technical papers, 15 of which will be in a special section on multiphysics, borehole geophysical measurements, formation evaluation, petrophysics, and rock physics. Special section editors Carlos Torres-Verdín, Tapan Mukerji, Michael Oristaglio, and André Revil worked with the goal to make this issue a technical reference for contemporary applications and set trends for future work.

Geophysics announces broadband seismology call for papers

Editors are encouraging submissions for a March–April 2013 special section, "Broadband seismology in oil and gas exploration and production: From acquisition to earth models." Submissions are due 29 July 2012. Read more about this and other special sections.
