In this paper we describe an application of fermion molecular dynamics to the simulation of the behavior of H2+ and H2 immersed in a strong laser field. The laser field consists of a single short pulse of linearly polarized long wavelength radiation; viz., tpulse~100  fs, lambda=758  nm, and 1013<=I0<1014  W/cm2. Results are compared with data from recent laboratory measurements.
