Thewave-particle -channeling effect is generalized to include rotating plasma. Specifically, radio frequency waves can resonate with particles in amirror machine with E×B rotation to diffuse the particlesalong constrained paths in phase space. Of major interest isthat the -particle energy, in addition to amplifying the rfwaves, can directly enhance the rotation energy which in turnprovides additional plasma confinement in centrifugal fusion reactors. An ancillarybenefit is the rapid removal of alpha particles, which increasesthe fusion reactivity.
