| Why has this site been created? |
The ASA has offered a "Paper Copying Service" on-site at its semi-annual meetings since the 1980s. This has enabled presenters to circulate additional details about their presentations to interested meeting participants. The use of the paper copying service has declined in recent years and so the ASA has created this site to facilitate the continued exchange of information among meeting participants.
This new site will also make it possible for people who are unable to attend the meeting to gain access to information presented at meetings.

How will the site operate? |
Approximately 2 months before a meeting, the site will be opened for receipt of submissions. Authors of papers to be presented at the current meeting will be given a username and password for use in submitting their materials to the site.
After a submission is uploaded, the site administrator will check the file to insure that it is in pdf format and that it is connected to a paper that will be presented at the meeting. The submission will then be posted at the site.
Once posted the submissions may then be downloaded by those interested in obtaining additional information about a meeting presentation.
Submissions for each meeting may be made for 1 month after the meeting and will be available for viewing and downloading for approximately 3 months after the meeting ends.
