Full Text PDF: Threading

All Scitation full text PDF files include "threading" to ease column-to-column navigation. A user navigates from "thread to thread" by using the system of intradocument hyperlinks that move the user through the content sequentially. Since the journal pages are arranged in a two-column format, this feature has been built in to ease column-to-column movement on the screen. When the user encounters a "wide" (two-column) equation, figure, or table, the page view automatically adjusts to display this in two-column format until the next one-column thread is encountered, and then the view reverts to that originally selected.
