Welcome to the Gallery of Nonlinear Science
This special section of the journal, Chaos, features winning entries from an annual contest, sponsored by the Topical Group on Statistical and Nonlinear Physics of The American Physical Society. Each year for the APS March Meeting, members submit to the contest either a poster or a video entry, which represents their best visual images of nonlinear phenomena. Judged by a distinguished international panel of referees, entries are evaluated on the basis of both scientific and aesthetic merit.
