Subscriptions

All IET journals, Engineering & Technology magazine and conferences/seminars are available for purchase in print, online via IET Digital Library or as a combined print and online subscription. Subscriptions can start at any time and are are based on a calendar year, with fixed prices for individual titles, multiple titles or subscription 'packages'. Individual subscribers will be able to access by username and password, and institutional subscribers can access by IP address. Front file online subscriptions for 2010 include:

  • Unlimited online searching, display and local printing by users at a single site
  • Access to all current issues and all backfile issues * from 1994 onwards where available
  • Option to retain subscribed material in electronic format for lapsed subscribers**
  • COUNTER compliant usage statistics reports provided monthly

If you do not subscribe to IET Digital Library, you can purchase individual articles instead using the Quick Article Buy feature.

IET Member Rates
IET member rates are available for print or online subscriptions to Electronics Letters, Micro & Nano Letters and the IET Research Journals. IET member rates are available only on orders placed by members directly with the IET.

How to order

Institutional subscribers:
  1. Please download our licence agreement and return it to:

  2. We will contact you when we have received your licence and will confirm the price of your subscription (including VAT where applicable).
  3. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an email from Scitation Support to confirm that your subscription has been activated.
Individual subscribers:
  1. Please send an email request to ietdl@theiet.org
  2. We will contact you to confirm the price of your subscription (including VAT where applicable).
  3. As soon as we process your payment, we will email you and ask you to register.
  4. Once you have registered, Scitation Support will email you to confirm that your subscription has been activated.
IET Members
  1. Please refer to the 2010 IET Member Price List for Discounted Rates on IET Publications and contact the IET Member and Customer Services Team to place your order (contact details shown below).
  2. As soon as we process your payment, we will email you and ask you to register.
  3. Once you have registered, Scitation Support will email you to confirm that your subscription has been activated.
