The Journal of Chemical Physics is pleased to welcome Professor James L. Skinner as an Associate Editor beginning 1 July 2009. Dr. Skinner is a professor at The University of Wisconsin, Madison where he is the Director of the Theoretical Chemistry Institute. With an impressive list of publications and awards, Dr. Skinner’s primary areas of research include structure and dynamics of condensed phase systems and the theory of time-dependent phenomena in liquids. Dr. Skinner’s group also develops theoretical models and their solutions for molecular spectroscopy in crystals amorphous solids, liquids and in proteins as well as relaxation processes in condensed phases. We are excited to have Dr. Skinner joining The Journal of Chemical Physics as the journal continues to expand into the future. |
